Chattanooga Sewer UI Enhancer (Chatt Sewer UI) is an independent browser extension that makes supported Chattanooga sewer-portal pages easier to use. This policy explains the extension’s data practices.
At a glance
The extension uses information available through your logged-in portal session to operate the enhanced interface in your browser and communicate with the underlying portal. The extension sends information only to the portal, never to the developer or any other third party.
Information the extension accesses
On supported Chattanooga pages of sewerpayments.com and share.dwcorp.com/WebShare, the extension may read information already displayed by, or available from, the portal. This can include your account details such as names, service addresses, and account numbers, along with balances, payment status, statements, paperless-billing and automatic-payment settings, and water-consumption information.
The extension uses this information only to build and operate the enhanced interface in your browser. It does not process payments, store your portal login credentials, or become the official source for your account records.
Portal requests
When it needs information for the enhanced dashboard, the extension may request it from the same Chattanooga portal using your current logged-in session. The resulting information remains in your browser and is not sent to a server operated by the extension developer. The portal provider’s own privacy practices continue to apply when you use the portal.
Local browser storage
The extension stores only a small amount of information locally in the portal’s browser storage: whether the enhanced interface is enabled and up to three recent diagnostic messages for each portal area. Diagnostic messages help explain technical issues. You can clear this locally stored information by clearing the portal’s site data through your browser settings. Disabling or uninstalling the extension does not itself remove that site data.
Nothing is sent to the developer
The extension does not send any data to the developer. This includes your sewer-account information, usage data, and locally stored diagnostic messages. It does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
Limited Use
Chatt Sewer UI’s use and transfer of user information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Third-party services and links
If you follow an external link provided by the extension, you may visit a third-party service such as GitHub or Buy Me a Coffee. Those services have their own privacy practices. If you contact the project, please do not include account numbers, payment details, passwords, or other sensitive information.
Security and your choices
No browser extension or third-party portal integration can be guaranteed completely secure or error-free. Review your account details and payment amounts before submitting changes, and check the portal’s confirmation afterward.
You can turn off the enhanced interface from its in-page control, disable or uninstall the extension through Chrome, and use browser controls to clear locally stored site data.

This policy may change as the extension, the portal, or applicable requirements change. The date above will be updated when a new version is published.
