Terms of Use
Last updated:
These Terms of Use apply to Chattanooga Sewer UI Enhancer (Chatt Sewer UI). By installing or using the extension, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use it.
What the extension does
Chatt Sewer UI is a free desktop Chrome extension that changes how supported Chattanooga sewer-portal pages are presented in your browser. It makes your account information, forms, and everyday actions easier to find and use. Available information and options depend on your account.
You keep using your existing account and the portal’s payment system. The extension builds the enhanced interface in your browser and may request additional dashboard information from the same portal using your existing session. Payments and account changes still go through the underlying portal.
The extension is built only for supported Chattanooga pages of sewerpayments.com and the Chattanooga tenant of share.dwcorp.com/WebShare. It is not designed for other cities, portal tenants, or the general sewerpayments.com website. Mobile browsers, Edge, Firefox, and Safari are not currently supported.
Independent project; the portal remains authoritative
Chatt Sewer UI is an independent personal project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the City of Chattanooga, sewerpayments.com, DWCorp, or the provider of the underlying portal. It does not provide sewer service, maintain official account records, or process payments.
The underlying portal remains the official source for your account balances, statements, billing settings, payment status, service information, confirmations, and other account records. If the enhanced interface appears incomplete, delayed, or inconsistent, check the original portal and contact the appropriate official service provider when needed.
You are responsible for reviewing payment amounts, account selections, billing choices, and other changes before submitting them. Review the portal’s confirmation or receipt after completing an action.
Availability and support
The portal, Chrome, and related services may change without the developer’s control. Chatt Sewer UI may be updated, paused, stop working, lose compatibility, or be discontinued without notice. Features may differ based on the information available for your account. The extension is provided free of charge, and uninterrupted availability, compatibility, accuracy, and future browser support are not guaranteed. Support for additional browsers or providers may be considered with community interest and help with testing and maintenance, but no expansion is promised.
You can turn off the enhanced interface using its in-page control, or disable or remove the extension through Chrome, and continue using the original portal. For account, billing, payment, or utility-service issues, contact the portal provider or Chattanooga 311. Extension support cannot resolve those issues.
Optional contributions through Buy Me a Coffee support the independent project. They do not purchase a service plan, guarantee continued availability, or create a customer relationship.
Acceptable use
Use Chatt Sewer UI only for its intended purpose and only with accounts and portal access you are authorized to use. Do not use it to interfere with, overload, probe, bypass, or disrupt the portal; gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data; introduce malicious code; engage in unlawful activity; or represent the extension as an official City or portal-provider product.
Your use of the underlying portal remains subject to the terms and requirements of its operator.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Chatt Sewer UI is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, the developer makes no warranties—express or implied—about the extension’s availability, compatibility, accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from errors.
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the extension. This includes losses connected with reliance on displayed information, portal changes, interrupted access, or actions taken through the underlying portal. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and contact
These terms may change as the extension, underlying portal, or applicable requirements change. The date above will be updated when a new version is published. By continuing to use the extension after updated terms take effect, you agree to the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.
